About the Admin-department
Our primary task is to take care of the copyrights belonging to the company and ensure that our songwriters and publishers get the best possible administrative service when it comes to copyright information and royalty distributions.
You become an important member of our team and will predominantly work with administrative tasks. Among your tasks is taking part in collection, reconciliation, tracking and reporting of royalties. You will also be in contact with our clients, their managers and our international offices regarding queries on royalty, and assist our Copyright Manager with song registrations, and other Copyright tasks.
This role gives you the opportunity to learn about copyright and royalty from beginning to end and has great potential for development.
Education and experience
You are fluent in both spoken and written English and Swedish – the majority of our communication both internally and externally is in English and therefore it is essential that you can handle this.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Office – your primary tools will be e-mail and Excel, and you will handle large documents in excel, so it is important that you can quickly get up to speed with these and handle independently.
The applicant shall have finished Swedish gymnasium with good grades. Work experience and/or further studies is also qualifying. It is an advantage, but not a demand, to have prior experience from the music industry.
To be successful in this role you need to be thorough, responsible, with a good sense of numbers and analytical thinking. You need to be service-minded and good at working in a team.
You need to be methodical and structured in your work – the task varies and there are many deadlines and rules to adhere to. To enjoy working at Sony/ATV it goes without saying that you should also love music!
